PRE CARE
Four to Six weeks prior to your appointment do not take vitamin A or retinol products. Do not have Botox or Fillers​
Two weeks prior do not under go any type of facial or skin peel. Do not tan or spend prolonged time in the sun.
One week prior do not take any fish or vitamin e oil
24 to 48 hours prior do not undertake any form of physical exertion, drink alcohol, consume caffeine, take aspirin or ibuprofen.
Day of appointment do not apply makeup. Avoid exfoliating skin care and medications that may thin out the skin or blood.
AFTER CARE
Use either sterilized, distilled or boiled water cooled to moisten a clean q-tip. Wipe away any plasma or lymphatic liquid that may have built up in the first couple hours. Lightly pat dry with a clean tissue. Try to keep clean and dry for a few days until it starts to feel dry and itchy. Start to apply a very thin layer of healing ointment. Dab on to avoid rubbing off any scabs that may have formed. Avoid letting the area get saturated with water for 14 days. Try to avoid the area with water while showering, and do not apply makeup for at least 10 day to avoid infection. For the first 24 hours avoid alcohol, Aspirin/Ibuprofen, and any medication that may thin your blood. Itching will start when the the healing begins. Try not to scratch or pick as this can affect the outcome of the results. No face scrubs, chemical peels, swimming, tanning, or saunas for at least 14 days.
